13 minutes east of downtown
From central Asheville, take I-240E to exit 7. At the end of the ramp, go straight through the first light and left at at the second (taking you east on Tunnel Rd). At the next light (Crockett Ave) turn left, then right at the T intersection onto New Haw Creek Road.
Drive about 2.5 miles on New Haw Creek Road. Do not turn on Mann Drive; continue until you reach the large stone columns of Sondley Estates. Veer left onto Haw Creek Circle, and in 400 feet, at the top of the hill, turn right on Mann Road.
In .2 mile, turn into the first driveway on the right and immediately park on the right. Your guide will meet you there.
