15 minutes east of downtown Asheville
Keep in mind you may not have cell/GPS service once you leave the interstate, so please save these directions. If you plan to taxi be sure to arrange your pickup ahead of time.
From Asheville, take I-240E to I-40E toward Statesville. In 2.5 miles, take exit 55 toward US-70/E Asheville/VA Hospital.
Turn left onto Porter’s Cove Road (signs for US70), drive under the highway, then right onto US 70E/ Tunnel Road. In 2.1 miles, at the second traffic light, turn right onto Buckeye Cove Road. In 1/2 mile, curve right to stay on Buckeye Cove Road. In another 1/2 mile, after passing the Community Center, take a soft left onto Old Fellowship Road, a dirt/gravel road. Go .4 miles and pass Sean Drive, staying to the right (the bottom sign at the fork is red and turquoise and says “Peace Chamber / Soulfire Sanctuary.”
In another 1/12 of a mile, there is another fork. Take the middle option, following an identical sign for the Peace Chamber. On a bend to the right, there will be a gated driveway on the left with a small handmade sign saying “261 Wild Roots.” Turn in here and drive all the way up to the end, parking on the left across from the main house. Your guide will meet you there.
